Hello,
Iโm Phyllis. ๐๐ผ๐ผ
I'm an incoming PhD student at Boston University CS, advised by Dr. Chang Xiao.
I am a master's student in the School of Information at University of Michigan, advised by Dr. Xu Wang. I also collaborate closely with Dr. Hao-Wen Dong from University of Michigan, Dr. Jeff Rzeszotarski from Cornell University, and Dr. Grace (Yu-Chun) Yen from National Yang-Ming Chiao-Tung University. In 2024, I graduated from the College of Computing and Information Science at Cornell, where I worked with Dr. Kyle Harms as a teaching assistant for two years.
As a researcher in Human-Computer Interaction, I study how human-AI collaboration can amplify human reflection, judgment, and creative agency through system building, visualization design, and cognitive scaffolding. My research interests center on: (1) Education: designing experiences that foster reflection in learning and teaching; (2) Creativity: preserving and enhancing human creative agency in human-AI co-creation.
